FDA searches Ranbaxy Inc’s USA offices
Ranbaxy, India's largest Pharma company and one of the world's largest generic makers, was up for a surprise when FDA offcials raided its office and a manufacturing facility in New Jersy on Thursday Feb 14th.
Though details are not available about the surprise search, Ranbaxy claims to be unaware of any wrong-doings.

The New York Times reports, An F.D.A. spokeswoman, Cathy McDermott, referred inquiries to the Justice Department, where a spokeswoman, Marsha Murphy, said, “We don’t comment on ongoing investigations.”
